Fair Trade
Our Fairtrade Group works to develop other pupils’ understanding of what Fairtrade is and why it is important. We are currently aiming to achieve the ‘FairAware’ Award for our hard work around Fairtrade.
Fairtrade makes sure farmers all over the world are paid a fair price for their produce and have better working conditions. This helps them to live well and look after their families well. So far this year we have carried out a pupil audit to see what we already know about Fairtrade and held a school assembly to tell pupils more about what choosing Fairtrade means.
