Noah’s Ark Nursery

Noah’s Ark Nursery has been part of the Belmont CE Primary School family since September 2016. We provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn.

Our experienced Early Years team offers a wide range of engaging learning experiences that support children’s development across all areas of the EYFS. We work very closely with our Reception staff, ensuring a smooth and confident transition into school life.

Three-Year-Old Provision

We offer both funded and paid Nursery places for three-year-old children during term time.

15 Hours Free Childcare

All children are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare from the term after their third birthday, until they start school. Additional paid sessions are also available.

Session Pattern Times
Five Mornings Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 11:45am
Optional lunch and wraparound care until 12:30pm (£4.00)
Five Afternoons Monday – Friday, 12:30pm – 3:30pm
Optional lunch and wraparound care from 11:45am (£4.00)
Two and a Half Days Option 1: Monday & Tuesday 9:00am – 3:00pm, Wednesday 8:45am – 11:45am
Option 2: Wednesday 12:30pm – 3:30pm, Thursday & Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm
(Lunch required on full days – paid school meal or packed lunch)
30 Hours Funded Childcare

The 30 hours funded childcare is available from the term after your child’s third birthday, subject to eligibility.

Two-Year-Old Provision

In January 2022, we were delighted to extend our Nursery provision to include two-year-old children. We offer both funded and paid sessions during term time.

Funded Two-Year-Old Places

Funded places are available for eligible families to attend our ‘Play and Learn’ sessions. Eligibility is set by the local authority.

Funded two-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours per week (term time only).

Paid sessions are available as half days or full days (term time only):

  • Morning session: 8:45am – 11:45am
  • Afternoon session: 12:30pm – 3:30pm
  • Full day: 9:00am – 3:00pm

Please enquire directly for current session costs.

Lunches on full days are charged separately for funded or paid sessions, or children may bring a packed lunch.

Wraparound Care

We offer a Breakfast Club and Tea Club to support families who need wraparound care.

  • Breakfast Club: from 7:30am
  • Tea Club: until 6:00pm
