- Welcome Back to School
Welcome back to a very busy and exciting half term.
I hope your children have enjoyed their half term break. I know the next few weeks will fly past and we will soon be in the middle of preparations for Christmas!
- Half Term
School breaks up Friday 20th October 2017 and will re-open on Monday 30th October 2017.

The school football team has got off to a great start, with two weeks of fantastic results!!
Well done and keep that team spirit going.
School starts at 8:55am.
If your child arrives after this time they will receive a late mark.
Registers close at 9:05am.
If your child arrives after this time they will receive an unauthorised absence mark.

A great start is being made in organising social events and occasions for us to enjoy.

- Ancient Greek Workshop
Year 5 & Year 6 children welcomed outreach workers from Durham University.
The children became investigators of Ancient Greece, and took part in 3 workshops followed by a Greek play.
We are proud to report that school achieved 96.9% in terms of attendance, last year, which is a slight improvement from 96.6%, from the previous year.

- Macmillan Coffee Morning
A staggering £331.44 was raised.
Thank you for supporting this charity with your overwhelming donation of cakes. It was great to see families joining us for coffee, in the afternoon, as well as all of the donations we also received.
- Jeans for Genes
A huge thank you for all of your generous donations.
The final total raised is £252.96!
- Open Days for 2018 Reception Starters
Visits for perspective Reception Class parents will take place on the following dates at 9:15am and 1:15pm.
